            <description>On 1st May 2012, Mr. John Rodriguez, Director General of H.M. Customs Department Gibraltar (right) and Mr. Vitali Rousak, Head of BPFS of UNCTAD (middle), signed an addendum to the ASYCUDAWorld Project in the presence of Mr. Fabrice Millet, Coordinator of the ASYCUDA Programme.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
In the framework of the m-Government Programme, UNCTAD will provide appropriate technical assistance and support for data harmonization, document simplification, business process reengineering and implementation of a series of Single Window components in Gibraltar, e.g. full electronic payments, electronic trade licenses, paperless environment for all cross-border-regulatory agencies etc.</description>

Each country or territory report provides information on the local system including  Customs and technical implementation data as well as statistical figures on the trade transactions handled by the system.</description>

            <description>AFGHANISTAN - ASYCUDA Transit operational between Weesh - Kandahar - Kabul &lt;br&gt;
The implementation of ASYCUDA Transit ensures a significant improvement of the control, tracing and monitoring of all cargos entering Afghanistan. The reduction of cargos unreported to Customs will result in Customs revenue increase. 95% of the total goods imported in Afghanistan is now processed through the ASYCUDA system.&lt;br&gt; 
The implementation of ASYCUDA Transit in this region was achieved trough the continuous efforts of the ASYCUDA team supported by the Customs senior management, including the Kandahar  and Weesh Customs Directors, as well as UNOPS support team.&lt;br&gt;

            <title>ASYCUDA Center for Regional Networked Customs</title>

            <description>On 1st November 2011, Mr. Ghaleb Qasem Al-Sarayreh, Director General of Jordan Customs Administration and Mr Petko Draganov, Deputy Secretary General of UNCTAD signed a project through which UNCTAD will provide appropriate technical assistance for the creation of an ASYCUDA Centre for Regional Networked Customs.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; The Centre will promote, develop and monitor the electronic data exchanges between Customs administrations. In particular, the Centre will develop solutions for processing electronically Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) and pre-arrival declarations.</description>
